The Craftikit Story: Fostering Creativity and Bonding during Lockdown

The idea for Craftikit was born when my family and I were confined at home in Annapolis during the lockdown. My 9-year-old daughter, Loops, and I share a love for crafts, and we spent countless days creating paper puppets and monsters together.

As I was nearing the end of my military service in the Air Force, Loops and I decided to turn our passion into a business venture. We recognized the need for engaging, yet simple and mess-free, craft kits that would allow parents to take a break while their little ones got busy.

Craftikit was designed with both fun and functionality in mind. Each kit contains 20 individual craft projects, each with its own labeled envelope, making it easy for children to choose and complete their desired activity with minimal supervision. The clear instructions and accompanying videos ensure that the projects are easy to follow, allowing even the youngest crafters to unleash their creativity.
